General carpentry & bespoke joinery

From external doors & windows, internal doors, facings, skirting, window sills, shelving units, staircases, balustrades, to fitted wardrobes - all bespoke to your needs. We also undertake all aspects of 1st fix works including framing and plaster boarding. 

Kitchens & Bathrooms

We can install your new kitchen or just take care of changing your worktop and fittings to give your kitchen that high-end finish. We also install new vanity units and wall panels in bathrooms to give it a modern look. 

Flooring

We can supply and fit all types of flooring and also offer to carry out remedial works to your original floors, such as squeaky floorboards or rotten timber.

Garden Upgrading

We can help you making your garden into an extra room by adding fencing, gates or even creating a decking area.

Refurbishment & Maintenance

We can carry out refurbishments, maintenance and remedial/insurance works to properties whether domestic or commercial.

Extensions

About Us

Gibson Carpentry & Joinery Ltd was established in 2019 by Derek Gibson. Before Gibson Carpentry & Joinery, Derek started off his working life in 1981 as an apprentice joiner and becoming fully qualified with both City & Guilds and City an Guilds Advanced Craft qualifications. Derek continued as a qualified joiner for 17 years before moving into Construction Site Management, where he was recognised as a four times NHBC Quality award winner, twice NHBC Seal of Excellence winner and Considerate Contractor winner.
With 38 years of experience in the construction industry, Derek has proudly started his own company in 2019.
